Can I make an appointment for a friend or loved one?Please encourage your friend or loved one to call me, as I will need to speak with them directly to schedule an appointment.

Do you accept insurance?Yes, I am in-network with Aetna PPO/POS and Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO.

What if I have a different insurance provider?Many plans offer out-of-network benefits. In this case, payment would be due at the time of service, and I am happy to provide you with documentation that you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.

How long are appointments?Appointments are 55 minutes.

What can I expect from my first appointment?You will discuss your concerns and reasons for seeking therapy, and I will share my initial impressions and possible treatment options. Together, we will decide if I am the right person to address your goals in ongoing therapy. At times, another provider or type of service may be recommended to best suit your needs.

Is therapy confidential?Yes, therapy is confidential, and information can only be released with your written permission. However, there are a few exceptions in which I legally am required to share information. These include if you pose a danger to yourself or someone else, if there is suspected child or elder abuse or neglect, and in response to a court order. Your privacy is very important; please ask me if you have any questions about privacy practices.

Are you offering telehealth (virtual) visits?Yes, my practice is exclusively virtual. I offer virtual therapy sessions using a HIPAA-compliant video platform, so that you can receive care conveniently from the safety of your home.
